Midnight tonight is the deadline for applications for this year's third level student grants.
If they are not in ahead of the cut-off time, they may not be paid out in time for the start of the new academic year in September.
In all, 110,000 applications are expected to be submitted, with 85,000 already received.
The grants awarding body Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI) says outstanding applications can be lodged online today.
Graham Doyle, Head of Communications with SUSI, says students who apply late are unlikely to get their grants on time:
USI President Kevin Donoghue also stressed the importance of getting in on time, saying “it is crucial that students apply for the SUSI grant but more importantly that they submit scanned copies of all the required supporting documentation required by SUSI, and any documents they feel are important for their case, before the deadline on Saturday night.”
