The Irish Times leads with "More than half of drink driving cases escape conviction" and in the last year it is as low as 28% on a review of the District Courts.
That paper also has proposals from Minister for Children James Reilly under which parents would be banned from slapping children.
The Irish Daily Mail has "Dáil candidate court support for paedophile". The story tells us that an Independent candidate in the upcoming election wrote a letter for an ex-garda who had sex with a 16-year-old boy, during his court case. That candidate now says he regrets his actions.
The Irish Daily Star: "Locked out - boys in green to get less than 800 tickets for Bosnia away game".
The Mirror: "Horror as man dies in Aer Lingus flight - passenger runs amok before he has a seizure".
The Sun: "Man bite flyer, then dies in jet hell - stewards saved petrified passengers".
Inside the papers, Ivan was drawn to a story in The Irish Times about how the Environment and Finance Ministers were to jointly reveal housing proposals but the relationship has now broken down - Alan Kelly wants to cap rents and the paper reports there are only 5,250 houses available to rent nationwide. That's down 80% on 2009.
Meanwhile, President Michael D Higgins is off on an eight day trip to the US West Coast, where he will meet the first responders who looked after the Berkeley balcony victims.
The Mirror says workplace bullying is now responsible for 10% of workplace dismissals.
Lots of the papers carry photographs from yesterday's match with Argentina, of Dave Kearney getting his dislocated finger reset.
And several papers carry a survey from King's College in London which shows that people who have more than 11 moles on their right arm have a higher likelihood of getting cancer.
