DART services have returned to normal this morning. Irish Rail says some delays remain but that these will ease.

The line between Bray and Dalkey had been suspended for a time after Irish Rail cables were stolen overnight.

Thousands of passengers between Bray and Dun Laoghaire were delayed.

It came after the cable damage was more extensive than first thought.

Dublin Bus accepted rail tickets for the duration of the disruption.
