The Wire actor Michael K Williams has died, at the age of 54.
Reports from US media say he was found dead at his home in Brooklyn.
The US actor is best known for playing Omar Little in the acclaimed HBO crime drama.
Among dozens of other credits, he also had a role as Chalky White in the gangster series Boardwalk Empire and starred alongside Queen Latifah in TV film Bessie.
Recently, he'd received critical acclaim and several awards nominations for his role in fantasy series Lovecraft County.
Williams' Wire co-star Isiah Whitlock Jr is among those paying tribute to the actor:
