Greece votes No in historic referendum

Greece has voted a resounding No in Sunday's referendum.

Results show a No victory of 61-39 on a turnout of 62 per cent, a massive surprise even to SYRIZA, with polls published earlier in the day suggesting a much narrower affair.

Not one region in the country has returned a Yes majority.

Princess Charlotte baptised in Sandringham

Princess Charlotte has been baptised at an intimate service in Sandringham as the world got its first glimpse of the Cambridges as a family of four.

A fundraising concert will be held in Dublin later this month for the seven Irish students injured in the Berkeley balcony collapse.

Acts confirmed so far include Jape, The Fontaines, Dublin Gospel Choir and Jessica Smith. The concert will take place in The Academy on July 23rd.

Search for body of missing Barry Davis Ryan will continue next week

The search for a man who's missing off the coast of Co Cork will continue this week.

Efforts to retrieve the body of Barry Davis Ryan have been ongoing since it's thought he drowned off the coast of Baltimore last Tuesday.

Earlier the funeral of his father Barry Ryan senior, 51, was held in Sacred Heart Church in Rath.

Former Taoisigh and ministers to have more than €1,600 a year added to their six-figure pensions

Brian Cowen and Bertie Ahern are to have more than €1,600 a year added to their six-figure pensions.

The Sunday Times says the windfall is thanks to a side deal to the Landsdowne Road agreement on public sector pay.
