On today’s Right Hook, the washing habits of British women are exercising George in light of a new study that was released today.

According to the UK skincare range Flint + Flint, four out of five women on the other side of the Irish Sea do not wash themselves every day, with only one in five saying that they even shower on a daily basis. And right they are, says George.

Almost a third of the 2,000 women sampled said they can go for three days without washing at all, while one in eight said they don’t brush their teeth before hitting the hay at the end of the day. The study also found that 63 percent of the women do not take off their make-up before bedtime, either.

The reasons given for why the women did not get around to personal hygiene included feeling tired after a long day at work, as well as a desire to snooze for longer in the morning.

Flint + Flint’s owner Maxine Flint described the hygiene habit findings as both “anti-social for the people around us and unhealthy.”
