Ibrahim Halawa's trial has been postponed until April

The family of Ibrahim Halawa are threatening to hold a protest outside the Department of Foreign Affairs, if the 19-year-old isn't released from prison in Egypt.

The family say that they will go to the Minister for Foreign Affairs Charlie Flanagan's office in Dublin, if Ibrahim is not released by tomorrow.

The Department of Foreign Affairs says Ibrahim Halawa's welfare while in custody remains a 'primary concern'.

An access road is being built to enable vehicles to reach the site of the Germanwings plane crash in the Alps.

The road could be finished as early as tomorrow evening.
