VIDEO: Fire engulfs The Torch tower skyscraper in Dubai
A huge fire engulfed part of The Torch tower in Dubai in the early hours of this morning, forcing hundreds of people to flee the 1,100ft skyscraper.
Witnesses said the blaze appeared to have started at around 2am in the middle of the residential building, rapidly spreading across some 15 floors.
Woman dies following four car collision in Co Carlow
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a collision claimed the life of a woman in Co Carlow yesterday.
At around 6:10pm four vehicles collided at Knockloe on the Tullow to Shilleagh Road (R725).

PIC: This controversial anti same-sex marriage leaflet was handed out in Dublin today
In an interview during the week, Taoiseach Enda Kenny indicated that the same-sex marriage referendum will take place on Friday May 22nd.
During a Divine Mercy event which took place in Dublin's RDS today, these leaflets were being handed out:
Taoiseach on same-sex referendum: "This is about your right to say two small words made up of three simple letters- 'I do'"
The Taoiseach says the right of same sex couples to say the two small words "I do" should become their letters of freedom.
In a passionate call for a yes vote in May's referendum, Enda Kenny says it offers the chance to show Ireland has evolved into a fair, compassionate and tolerant nation.
