Irish ambassador to Turkey confirms Irish-Algerian family injured in a suicide attack today
The Irish ambassador to Turkey has confirmed that an Irish-Algerian family were injured in a suicide attack in Turkey today. Five people died in the blast at a shopping district in Istanbul - three Israelis and two Iranians. Another 36 people were injured in the blast.

Tesco managers told they need to be nicer to staff
Matt Davies, chief executive of Tesco’s UK and Irish business, has asked those in managerial positions in the company to be nicer to their staff to try and boost morale. Davies has asked that managers use basic courtesies with staff in store, such as saying please and thank you, or offering some form of recognition for a job well done.
