Audi has released information on the prologue Avant concept vehicle that they will show in March at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The prologue Avant is to show the future design language of the brand.

The car measures in at 5.11 metres long and 1.97 metres wide and is clearly positioned in the luxury class. The interior will allow the driver and up to three passengers to stay digitally connected thanks to state-of-the-art infotainment and connect technology. The front dashboard holds three touch displays and the driver and passengers can “establish a digital communication via two OLED displays made from organic LEDs”.

The prologue Avant is equipped with the plug-in hybrid drive from the Q7 e-tron Quattro (to be launched this summer) and between this and a 3.0 TDI engine the car can sprint from 0-100km/h in 5.1 seconds with a top speed limited to 250km/h. The 3.0 TDI engine offers 353hp and with the electric motor the prologue Avant can offer 455hp with system torque of 750Nm. The electric range of the show car is 54km.
