At least 10 are reported dead and hundreds injured following a landslide in central Sri Lanka, according to BBC News.
The landslide reportedly occurred following heavy monsoon rains in the region.

The mudslide hit the Meeriyabedda tea plantation near Haldummulla earlier today. Ten are reported to be dead while up to 300 people are now missing.
The weather has cleared which is allowing rescue workers to search for survivors. However, it is reported that military officials are being hampered by fog.
