A teenager has died after being hit by a truck in Cork.
It happened on Sheares Street in the city at around 3:30pm this afternoon.
The injured teenage boy was taken to Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in Cork, where he was later pronounced dead.

The truck driver was not injured.
Gardaí are now calling for any witnesses to come forward, as well as any road users who may have footage from the area between 3:15pm and 3:45pm this afternoon.
