On December 3 2012, 15 year old Conor Devlin was on his way to school, when the car in which he was travelling collided with a tractor. As a result of the accident, Conor suffered a number of fractures to his skull and was left with a severe brain injury.
A year to the day since the accident occurred, he joined Jonathan Healy on Lunchtime to discuss the aftermath of the accident and his remarkable recovery. Today he is visiting Leinster House to address TDs on the lack of rehabilitation services available to teenagers who have suffered an acquired brain injury.
