A Mumbai man has been granted a divorce after claiming he could no longer handle his wife’s ‘excessive and insatiable’ appetite for sex.
The husband first approached the family court in Mumbai in January saying that his wife had been ‘aggressive and autocratic’ in her methods to satisfy her appetite. This included giving him medication to boost his libido and threatening to sleep with other men if he failed to keep up with her.
Principal Judge Laxmi Rao said ‘Due to respondent’s (wife’s) non-appearance before the court, the petitioner’s (husband’s) evidence remains unchallenged on record. Hence this court has no option but to accept his evidence as it is.’
