The Taoiseach will be in County Wexford today as thousands gather to mark 50 years since the visit of JFK.
On this week in 1963 the late US President made an historic trip to the land of his Irish ancestors.
The occasion will be commemorated with the official opening of a visitor centre at the Kennedy homestead in Dunganstown.

The so-called 'Emigrant Flame' symbolises all those who leave Ireland to start new lives overseas.
