Talks aimed at averting a strike by Aer Lingus cabin crew are continuing at the Labour Relations Commission this evening.

Representatives of the airline and the trade union IMPACT, which represents around 1,000 cabin crew at Aer Lingus, are in attendance.

The dispute centres on rostering changes and the planned closure of the Aer Lingus cabin crew base at Shannon Airport.
