Management and unions at Irish Rail will return to the talks table this morning to try to avoid a bank holiday strike.
Train drivers are threatening to walk off the job for three-hours next Friday and Friday the 6th of November in a dispute over pay.
Members of SIPTU and the NBRU say they're owed money for past productivity, but Irish Rail claims any extra payments can only be made if they're promised increased productivity in the future.
