Support for Fianna Fail has fallen according to the latest Red C poll, following the revelations in the Anglo tapes.
Fine Gael jumps two points since last month, once again opening a gap between the two parties which had previously been neck and neck in political support.
According to the Red C Poll for the Sunday Business Post the drop in support for Fianna Fail, by four points in the last month, is the reversal of a trend of rising support for the party which had been evident since last year-leaving them on 22 per-cent.
Fine Gael gains by two points since last month to 28per-cent, once again opening a gap between the two parties which had previously been neck and neck in political support.
Labour gains by one point since last month to 12 per-cent as does Sinn Fein on 17 per-cent while support for independents and smaller parties is also steady on 21 per cent.
The poll was conducted among over 1,000 voters nationwide last Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Meanwhile, a separate poll published earlier this evening carried out for tomorrow's Sunday Times-conducted between the 11th and 24th of June showed no change in support for Fine Gael on 27 per-cent while support for Labour also remained static at 7 per-cent. Fianna Fail jumped one to 24 per-cent, according to the Sunday Times poll.
