While some areas will remain dry today, many parts of the country will have outbreaks of rain.
Some of these heavy downpours with result in poor visibility and may result in some surface flooding.
Moderate southeasterly winds, with temperatures topping out at 13 to 16 degrees.
Tonight, further heavy rain over Connacht, Munster and south Leinster may contribute to the possible flooding, with lowest temperatures expected around 10 to 12 degrees.
Meanwhile, a status orange rainfall warning has been issued for Kerry. Met Éireann is warning of heavy rain through Sunday and Monday with accumulations of 50-70mm possible.
They have also issued a yellow rainfall warning for Clare, Cork and Kerry which will begin at 6am on Sunday, 13th of September.
Heavy rainfall is expected during Sunday and Sunday night the counties and it is expected to reach more than 30mm in 24 hours.
That warning will be in effect until Monday at 6am.
