Today

This morning will be dull and damp to start with outbreaks of rain clearing up in the east early on. It'll then be dry and sunny for a short time. This afternoon a southwest wind will bring another spell of showery rain to Connacht and Ulster, with scattered showers elsewhere. Along with the rain the southwest winds will continue to strengthen throughout the day, reaching gale force along the west and northwest coast. Highest temperatures 15C to 19C.

Tonight

The  southwest wind will slowly ease tonight, with showers mainly staying to the west and north. It'll become mainly dry elsewhere. Lowest temperatures 7C to 9C.
