TODAY
Mostly wet today in Connacht, Munster and parts of south Leinster – with heavy rain at times and strong and squally northwest winds, especially in coastal counties.
Eastern and northeastern counties will start mostly dry with mist and fog clearing and bright spells developing for a time in lighter winds.
However, showers or longer spells of rain will affect these areas later this morning and during the afternoon.
Highest temperatures 10C or 11C.
TONIGHT
Further rain in many areas for a time early tonight but that will break up into showers and drier clearer weather will develop – especially across Ulster.
Mist and fog developing also.
Lowest temperatures will range from 2C or 4C in the north with a slight frost. Between 5C and 8C elsewhere.
