Six people are due in court today charged in connection with drug seizures in Co Wexford.

The five men and a woman - all aged in their mid 20s to early 60s - are due before Gorey District Court at 10.30 this morning.

They were detained on Monday under Operation Serpentine - which targets the cultivation and sale and supply of drugs in the South East.

€128,000 worth of cocaine, cannabis resin and cannabis herb was seized when six properties across Wexford were raided.

Another man - who had also been detained on Monday - has since been released without charge.
