€40,000 in cash along with evidence of drug dealing were found and 11 bank accounts - containing over €200,000 - were frozen.

Four cars were also seized.

Six people were arrested in connection with the searches.

Another search on Saturday resulted in the discovery of two guns and a taser baton on waste ground in Prospect, Co Limerick.

The seizures are part of an ongoing inquiry into the activities of an organised crime gang.

Last week over 60 searches took place in Limerick, Clare and Tipperary, and nine people were charged in connection with drug dealing.
