A Sinn Féin TD has dismissed reports that he could be about to join Fianna Fáil.

Reports this morning have linked Peadar Toibin with a surprise move to Fianna Fáil ahead of the next general election.

The Meath-East TD is currently serving a six-month suspension from Sinn Féin after voting against party policy on abortion.

But he says he is committed to Sinn Féin and will not be leaving to join their bitter rivals.
