Three people have been killed in the western German city of Munster after a van drove into people sitting outside in the sunshine.
The driver of the vehicle was one of the dead - he died after shooting himself.

Police spokesman Andreas Bode confirmed to reporters " shortly before three thirty a vehicle drove into the outdoor area of a restaurant in the city centre. Three people were killed, 20 injured and 6 are seriously injured. We are looking into a suspicious object in the vehicle, but the investigation is ongoing."
Police say the situation is ongoing and are urging people to avoid the area as the emergency response continues.

They also urged members of the public to avoid speculation.
Muenster is located around 60km north of Dortmund.
