Multiple ambulances are responding to a chemical leak at a leisure centre in St Andrews, the Scottish Ambulance Service has said.
Fifteen people have been treated by medics at the East Sands Leisure Centre for "minor breathing irritation".
The complex itself has been evacuated.
The emergency services were called to reports of people showing symptoms of having been exposed to a chemical leak at around 1.00pm.
The centre includes a swimming pool and a gym.
A spokesman said for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has told the BBC "there are no fatalities".
It is believed the leak could be sodium hypochlorite - a chemical compound which becomes bleach when dissolved in water.
