A primary school in Nebraska, USA, has been forced to apologise after a backlash against an ‘inaccurate’ leaflet on bullying.
Parents of the fifth-grade students (aged 10-11) in Lincoln's Zeman Elementary School were outraged at the leaflet, which offered advice on how to cope with being bullied.
The leaflet advises students to “not tell on bullies” or be a “sore loser,” and encourages them to “make a joke out of” insults.

School officials have apologised, saying that the wrong leaflet was sent out, and the Lincoln Public School Board have posted a Facebook status to clarify their stance on the issue. The board also said that counsellors and teachers will be meeting with students about the issue.
