Patches of mist, fog and ground frost will slowly clear this morning.

It will be mainly dry and mostly cloudy today; however, some scattered showers will develop, mainly in Munster, west Connacht and east Ulster.

Highest temperatures will range from 5C in the northeast to 10C in the southwest with light breezes.

TONIGHT

Tonight will start off dry in many areas.

Scattered showers in the west will give way to rain and drizzle, spreading eastwards overnight.

Lowest temperatures of 0C to 4C with frost developing in the east and northeast.
