Russia celebrates Germany's WWII surrender with largest post-Soviet military parade

Russia's marking the 70th anniversary of Germany's surrender in World War Two with the country's biggest-ever military parade.

Thousands of troops have marched through Red Square in Moscow.

The parade is seen as a show of force, with President Putin accusing the international community of ignoring the principle of co-operation between countries.

Meanwhile, bells will ring out at churches and cathedrals across the UK.

They were silent throughout the Second World War.
