Russia and the US say they will hold talks about airstrikes in Syria, after 33 people reportedly died yesterday.

Civilians, including children, died when Russia launched its first wave of attacks against what it says were Islamic State targets - but US officials claim they hit non-Islamic State areas instead.

Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov says they now want to "establish channels of communication to avoid any unintended incidents".

He held a joint press conference with the US Secretary of State John Kerry to outline their agreement:

Meanwhile, footage has emerged of airstrikes on the Syrian city of Homs yesterday.

Activists, who shot the film, attributed the attacks to Russian airplanes.

The Syrian government, led by Bashar al Assad, receives support from Russia.
