While keeping an eye on motor news this week I’ve come across some articles which indicate fresh rumours that Apple may be considering the development of an iCar. After reading an article by Sam Colt in Business Insider UK some things started falling into place for me.

Mr Colt reports that Bryan Chaffin, co-founder of the Apple site “The Mac Observer”, said that he was “certain” that after talking to his sources that Apple are working on a car. The same report says that “Apple has about 50 employees who previously worked at Tesla, according to LinkedIn. Many of those hires were engineers who interned at Tesla. Most of the engineers Apple has hired from Tesla specialize in mechanics, manufacturing, and robotics”.

Rumours about an iCar have been floating around for some time now, but wouldn’t it be exciting if there was such a thing? Would it bring connectivity to a new level? We'll be keeping a keen eye on this story.
