Relatives of those who fought in the Easter Rising say they're happy to accept the State programme of events for next year's centenary.
The 1916 Relatives Association met in Dublin earlier to discuss the programme set out by the Government to mark the anniversary of the rising next year.
It is the first time the group have met since details of the 2016 commemoration were revealed by the Department of Arts and Heritage late in November last.
The group earlier said they hoped for events including re-enactments, school history projects, readings, film screenings, inter-generational projects for transition year students, historical protection of built heritage associated with 1916 and more.
Members of the group are included in the sub-committee being formed to work on the Moore Street national monument and historical heritage site plans.
