2.2 million passengers travelled through Dublin Airport last month - making it the the busiest May ever in the 75 year history of the Airport.
The latest figures from the Dublin Airport Authority show passenger numbers grew by 13% last month, while an extra 1.2 million passengers arriving and departing from the airport so far this year.
The figures also show 9 million people have used the airport since the start of the year, with passenger volumes to North America and the Middle East up - by 13% and 22% respectively.

A spokesperson for the DAA is welcoming the figures, and says that every one million additional passengers supports more than 1,000 extra jobs in the industry.
