A South African TV channel has broadcast a reality TV show featuring Reeva Steenkamp, the murdered girlfriend of athlete Oscar Pistorius.

On the programme Ms Steenkamp spoke of the importance of leaving a positive mark in life.

The excerpt from the "Tropika Island of Treasure" programme shows Steenkamp swimming with dolphins and smiling broadly as she goes on a river rafting expedition. 

Earlier, the uncle of Oscar Pistorius said the jailed athlete was "numb with shock" and grief following the death of his girlfriend.

The olympic and paralympic star denies murdering the model at their home in South Africa this week.
