Police in Northern Ireland say an explosive device found in Derry could have caused fatal injuries.
Some 30 homes in the Ballyarnett area of the city were evacuated overnight.
A cordon is still in place as investigations continue.

On Sunday, a small bomb exploded in a van in the Drumard Park area of Derry.
