Police in the North say a bomb planted in Derry last night bears all the hallmarks of a dissident republican attack.
The exploded device was located by officers in a bin on the Skeoge Road.
The PSNI says the incident showed blatant disregard for lives of people in the community.

The security alert has now ended and anyone with information's asked to contact the non-emergency number 101.
