Police are appealing for information following an arson attack in Belfast earlier this week.

It happened at a building site in the North Queen Street area on Thursday at around 9pm.

It is understood police received a report that a mechanical digger - with a value of around £20,000 sterling - was destroyed in the fire.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
