A post mortem is to be carried out later today on the body of a man found in Co Kerry.

The body of 41-year-old Brian Looney was discovered at a house in Glenbeigh, at around 4pm yesterday evening.

It is understood he died as a result of a fire in the house.

Gardaí are continuing their investigations, but it is not believed the death was suspicious.
