A new opinion poll out today shows that the coalition has hit a new level of unpopularity.
It's a different story for Sinn Féin however who have capitalised on their strong showing in the local and European elections.
Today's Millward Brown opinion poll in the Irish Independent, claims that Enda Kenny's coalition is as unpopular as Brian Cowan's party in its dying days.
The paper goes so far as to claim that Sinn Féin and Independents would get the majority of seats if there was a snap General Election.
Sinn Fein have 26 per cent support - carrying on from their success in the recent elections.
Also faring well are Independents on 29.
Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael are tied on 20 per cent each.
While labour have just 5 per cent.
Most tellingly the current dissatisfaction rating sits at 77 per cent.
