German police are responding to reports of an armed woman in a job centre, according to local media reports.
Police have cordoned off the building in the Sulz area of Cologne and staff have been told to stay in their offices.
A police spokesman said that they had just detained a suspect on another matter at the employment agency when witnesses said they had seen an armed woman walking around in the building.
