A police officer has been killed and up to 30 people have been injured in an explosion near a bull ring, in the Colombian capital of Bogota.
Hundreds of animal rights activists had been preparing to hold a march to demonstrate against bullfighting, when the blast happened.
Many of the injured are believed to be police officers who were deployed ahead of the protest.
The bullring has been the scene of weekly demonstrations following a recent decision to lift a 4-year ban on bullfighting in the city.
Bogota mayor Enrique Penalosa attended the scene and announced that he was convening a security council meeting for Sunday afternoon.
Mr Penasola said "The terrorists won't intimidate us," before adding that "We are going to do all that's necessary to capture them."
