Police have launched an investigation into a shooting incident in Belfast this evening.

A man wearing dark clothing and a mask is reported to have been seen firing a number of shots at a white van - parked on the Monagh Road at about a quarter past 4.

Three men were in the van at the time of the shooting - but all escaped without injury.

Police officers are urging anyone with information to contact the non emergency number 101.
