Yesterday we witnessed NASA's Philae lander arrive safely on the comet Comet 67P - the first ever landing on a comet.
But during the momentous event, there was probably one niggling question at the back of your mind: what if the comet somehow landed on Ireland's true capital?
Professional photographer Darren Forde has busied himself by creating an artists's rendition of what a 'Deep Impact' scenario would look like in Cork City.
Forde says that the comet would dwarf the city, squashing many of its most treasured cultural institutions:
"Coming in at approximately 4.1km wide, the comet would stretch roughly from County Hall to Pairc Uí Chaoimh."
Resident's can sleep safely tonight though, as the comet remains about 6.4 billion kilometres from Earth (and Cork)... for now.
