Pharrell Williams has opened an exhibition in Paris showcasing art which he says celebrates femininity.
The former N.E.R.D front-man arrived in Paris on Monday, May 26th, to be at the opening.
The exhibition is entitled ‘GIRL’, just like the title of his newly released second solo album.
The 41-year-old art lover co-organised the exhibition which celebrates femininity, female creativity, love and freedom, with art dealer and gallery owner Emmanuel Perrotin.
The exhibition features 40 pieces from 32 artists, including 10 specially commissioned for the exhibition. It includes works by Andy Warhol, Tracey Emin, Guerrilla Girls, Yoko Ono and photographer Terry Richardson.
The exhibition is being held at the Galerie Perrotin in Paris from May 27th to June 25th 2014.
