Gardaí are seeking a group of teenagers who allegedly attacked a man with intellectual disabilities in a Dublin park.

Paul Deaton (30) suffered a serious head injury during the unprovoked assault in Fairview Park.

The group of up to five teenagers allegedly threatened to kill the man, and then filmed the attack on their phones.

Paul's sister Linda claims the boys also threatened to set him on fire.

The incident happened at around 7pm. It is claimed that he tried to get away a number of times.

When he eventually did a passerby saw him, and brought him to a local pharmacy.

Paul's family say he is now terrified to leave his home in Marino in case he is attacked again.

Speaking to Today FM, Linda Deaton says the whole family are traumatised.
