Almost 500 people are without power across the country tonight.
3,000 properties in Oughterard in Galway had been without power due to a cable fault there - however 340 remain in the dark there.
78 customers, who are served by the Carrick-on-shannon power station, are without power since 4pm today.
A smaller number of customers Kimmage in Dublin are also experiencing power outages.
A cable fault in Tempelogue in Dublin which led to almost 2,000 people being without electricity has been fixed.
ESB networks are advising people to check the power check section of their website, or their twitter feed for further updates.
"We apologise for the loss of supply. We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible," reads a message on the ESB Networks site.
