One man injured after 'car deliberately driven into another car' at Dublin shopping centre

One man has been at a Dublin shopping centre, in an incident which is believed to have involved a car being deliberately driven into another car.

It happened at the City West Shopping Centre at around 5:30pm this afternoon.

In a statement, gardaí said their initial investigations show that a "car deliberately drove into another car injuring a man".

The injured man has been taken to Tallaght University Hospital, and his injuries are non-life threatening.

One man has been arrested in connection with the investigation.

He is currently being held at Tallaght Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

Gardaí in Tallaght say their investigation is continuing.
