One Direction's remaining concerts in Belfast are to go ahead, after a last minute cancellation of last night's event.

Tuesday's concert has been rescheduled for Friday night, and all tickets from last night's postponed concert will be valid for that.

Aiken Promotions has this afternoon issued a statement to say that the two scheduled concerts remaining will go ahead as planned at the SSE Arena, with the third event rescheduled for the end of the week.

Organisers have once again apologised for the cancellation of last night's show, blaming Liam Payne's ill health.

Aiken wrote: "We thank everyone for their understanding and their good wishes to Liam."

For anyone not able to attend the rescheduled Show on Friday, please contact point of purchase for detail of how to obtain a refund.

After last night's cancellation, Harry Styles tweeted his "deepest apologies" to fans.

Management had said Liam's illness was not serious.

Louis Tomlinson added: "We're so so sorry for what happened tonight, it was out of our control. Lots of love to Liam and thank you for being so understanding".

Fans were bitterly disappointed last night. Rachel from Donegal was one of them:

IThis woman who travelled from Co Mayo says she was gutted.
