Northern Ireland's Fire Service has said it received a total of 88 calls last night during events to mark the eve of the 12th of July.
This year saw a reduction in the overall number of calls.
However, it is thought fewer bonfires were lit last night as the annual 12th of July Orange Order Parades will not take place until tomorrow.
That is because The Order does not parade on a Sunday for religious reasons.
More than 3,000 police officers will be deployed to help keep the peace during the annual Twelfth of July parades in the North.
Tens of thousands of spectators are expected to turn out as 20 parades take place across Northern Ireland, with the biggest event being held in Belfast.
Loyalist groups say the day - which marks the victory of a protestant king over a Catholic king at the Battle of the Boyne - is a celebration and a family day out.
However the government-appointed Parades Commission has imposed restrictions on more than 50 events deemed "sensitive".
