Commenting on Newstalk’s latest performance, Tim Collins, CEO said: “Today’s figures are testament to the solid growth of Newstalk over the past three years. The general election was strong for us, particularly our Breakfast Show so I am delighted to see that performance borne out by the fact we are now the 3rd largest national station. Our strategy of targeting a younger age cohort than the State owned broadcaster is paying off and we are now the clear leader among younger talk radio listeners in Dublin and nationally."
